MAITLAND - The FBI made a public plea today for victims of two men accused of exploiting and extorting girls via the Internet to come forward to law-enforcement.

Federal agents believe there are countless girls or women they have been unable to identify and locate who were victimized by Patrick Connolly and Ivory Dickerson.

Connolly, 36, a former military contractor and citizen of North Ireland, was arrested earlier this month at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on a federal computer hacking charge.

Dickerson, a civil engineer from North Carolina, already pleaded guilty to child pornography and other charges and is serving a 110-year prison sentence.

The FBI began investigating Connolly and Dickerson about four years ago after the men allegedly victimized several Brevard County girls, according to court records. The FBI is asking that victims call their agency at 1-866-838-1153.Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.U.S. military base in Baghdad, was transported to the Seminole County jail this week.

One of those teens was told her sister would be harmed if she didn’t provide nude photographs of herself. Another teen was told she would be made “the most well-known girl at school” unless she provided revealing pictures, records state.

Victims, who have ranged in age from 14 to 17, were persuaded into producing child pornography of themselves, said Special Agent in Charge Steven Ibison.

Ibison, speaking at the FBI’s Maitland office, said investigators think there are many more victims in the U.S. than they have been able to track down.

“There could be hundreds, if not thousands, of victims out there that have not told their parents,” Ibison said. (more…)

Hardeeville High School substitute teacher was arrested Thursday and charged with having sex with a 15-year-old boy he met on the Internet, according to the Beaufort Police Department.

Eric Lamar Parker, 25, of Port Royal, has been charged with committing a lewd act on a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to police. (more…)

VERMILION — Two teenage girls said they were forced to have sex with three New York men who came to Vermilion after corresponding with one of the girls on MySpace.

The incident came to light after Vermilion police Officer Scott Holmes spotted one of the three men wandering down the street early Friday morning. The man, identified as Michael Wightman, 18, of Bath, N.Y., was found in possession of marijuana and a pipe, police said. Wightman led police to his friend, Anthony Edinger, 19, of Beaver Dams, N.Y., who was sitting in a car at a nearby business.

Edinger, who had an open can of beer in the car, had bruising on his neck that appeared to be ”hickeys,” the report said. He admitted to having sexual relations with a girl at a nearby house where one of his friends was still located. (more…)

She’d finish by 5:30 aam, exhausted and disgusted. The money - about US $100 per trick - went to whichever pimp was profiting from her lost innocence.

In September, Sacramento police Sgt. Pam Seyffert and her vice unit picked up Jasmine at a Good Nite Inn near California State University, Sacramento.

They’d found her the same way so many men had: on craigslist.

Well-known as a free online community bulletin board, craigslist has gained the dubious distinction of being a popular site for pimps to market young girls to customers, or “johns.” (more…)

Hong Kong native is being held in St. Louis in connection with what authorities believe is an international prostitution ring.

Federal court documents say the ring used free newspaper and popular Internet sites to advertise massage services that were really a front for prostitution, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Wednesday.

Maco Chor Sing Yeung, 51, of Hong Kong, appeared in court recently on a single felony count of inducing an alien to reside in the United States in violation of the law.

Prosecutors want him held until trial, suggesting he is a flight risk, the Post-Dispatch said.

Authorities say Yeung was paying for hotel rooms for women who advertised massage services.

Yeung has denied being involved with prostitution but admits renting rooms for five women in the St. Louis and Chicago areas.

He said he was helping the women because they didn’t speak English, the newspaper said.

The porn industry has started targeting Youtube with the same intensity as MySpace. Pornographers post small 10-30 second clips of teenage girls in their underwear either dancing or taking off their clothes. At the moment they are about to become nude the clip stops and a website address is displayed to give acess the entire clip. This tactic circumvents Youtube’s policy because the girls are not nude therefore violating the terms of usage for the website. Some pornographers are so assertive that they post full nude clips and XXX porn clips knowing that they will be taken down eventually by Youtube. Prior to the suspension of their account for the violation, the porn site has created enough buzz to guide teens to their website. Teens have become smart and look for free porn on Youtube prior to the suspension of the  account.

Investigators say Benjamin Stribling, 25, asked the girl to send him nude photos of herself while chatting with her on Teenspot.com, a popular social Web site.

Unbeknownst to the girl and Stribling, her parents had installed spy software on the computer that alerted them to the content and destination of the messages.

They alerted authorities who tracked the messages to Stribling.

Police said Stribling apparently had sent about 100 similar messages to young girls around the country.

Computer safety experts advise parents to install one of the many “spy” software programs on computers used by children.

The programs can be tailored to alert parents via e-mail when certain words or phrases are used in e-mails, chat rooms or instant messages.

The price for the software ranges from $40 to about $100.

Craigslist is becoming as popular as the juggernaut EBAY. Craigslist is a classified forum that covers over 500 cities and 50 countries. Most people use the website to purchase goods and seek employment. The problem is Craigslist is becoming one of the biggest avenues for soliciting prostitution. Unlike your local newspaper classified, teens or adults can post sex ads without any type of oversight.

Recently two California teens were arrested in Burbank for prostitution. They were allegedly running a prostitution ring out of a group of hotels. Last week, teens in Canada were caught selling sex on Craigslist.  In July of 2007, Cook County (Chicago) Sheriff department discovered that over 60 females were prostituting through Craigs list. MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. - Three convicted sex offenders have been arrested for surfing social networking Web sites and are believed to be the first charged under the state’s new law that restricts their use of the Internet, authorities said Friday.

State police set up accounts on MySpace and Facebook, posing as teenagers to monitor the sex offenders, Lt. Joseph Furlong said, but he wouldn’t elaborate. The suspects did not seem to be behaving improperly online, “but they are not allowed to be on there doing anything,” he said. (more…)
